Mrs. Stoppel Class Information

What's Happening

Science and Visual Arts are two subjects that provide endless opportunities to ask questions, analyze ideas, and share creative responses. I'm looking forward to helping the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students discover more about science with guided discussions and hands-on activities as well as collaborative and independent problem solving. I'm also eager to inspire the kindergarten through eighth grade artists as they explore their creative potential by connecting with, creating, presenting, and responding to  a variety of artworks.

My Biography

I'm excited to be back at Schleswig Community School after a five year absence (spent raising my 5 boys and recently teaching part-time). Previously, I taught self-contained middle school and K-8 art for 6 years at Zion, 15 years of middle school math and science here at Schleswig, and 3 years part-time specials at St. Rose. Every school year and the experiences in each school building have a unique impact on me as a life-long learner and passionate educator. I hope to infect my students with a strong desire to learn, grow, and never settle for less than their best.

Please email me with any questions or concerns you have. I can hardly wait to see how amazing this year will be!
