The days are getting longer and the temps are getting warmer, which can only mean one thing...Summer Break is here!
Even though school is not in session, many important parts of the school day can still occur in a relaxed, family friendly setting. The Public Library in town has a wide selection of books and a popular Summer Reading Program for students and our community has lots of great recreation opportunities for the entire family! Gardening, shopping, playing games and cooking together are all great ways to encourage not only reading but also problem solving.
The Schleswig School is once again participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Monday through Friday breakfast will be served from 8:00-9:00 AM and lunch from 11:30-12:30. The Summer Food Service Program begins on June 5th and meals are free for children up to age 18. ** There will not be meals served July 3-7th.
While we are preparing the building for the 2023-2024 school year, remember that we are on Summer hours. Please make sure to call the school (676-3314) before making a trip to the building in order to make sure that someone is available to help you! Registration information for the upcoming school year will be available at the end of July.
Have a great Summer Break and we can’t wait to see you in August!
